encountered technical difficulties in creating PS3-version FFXIV
Recently, Square Enix has announced that the launch of a PC version multiplayer online game Final Fantasy XIV(ffxiv gil) will be held simultaneously around the world on Sept. 30, 2010.
Starting the PS3-version has been postponed to March next year. In an interview with game producer JeuxOnline Hiromichi Tanaka (Hiromichi Tanaka) stated that the reason for the transfer served the various technical difficulties.
"We understand the frustration of players and developers are very sorry, as they tried to do everything possible to simultaneously run the game on both platforms, but unfortunately, we encountered several technical problems in creating PS3-version. We will make every effort to minimize the time interval between releases.
He said that soon will begin a beta test version for the PS3, and developers will try to finish it as quickly as possible.
