SWTOR Is Testing a New Tech of Megaservers
Star Wars: The Old Republic is definitely one of my favorite MMOs so far. I really love the gameplay and the way it gives people fun. Every time I put myself in the game, I totally forget the time.
And recently, I've been feeling lately like there's just nobody around to get down buy swtor credits and dancing with at the cantina any more. It's a very serious issue, I'll have you know - so serious, in fact, and that BioWare have opened their public test servers open to players to try out the new, populated "megaservers."
In case of you don't know, according to the SWTOR test center blog, this megaserver business is a "new high population server tech that will allow us to significantly increase current server populations." I thought population multiplication required something a little more. Basically, populations aren't going to increase - they're just going to be consolidated into a smaller number of servers. If you're a player of SWTOR and can help testing, here are the details:
"The first step in this process is opening up a new, temporary Public Test Server for testing. In order for us to successfully test this new tech, we need your help. To facilitate your participation we have copied all characters from our East Coast servers to this temporary Public Test Server. If you have any characters on an East Coast server, you can now log in to this special Public Test Server, find your copied characters, and begin testing this important feature today, September 13th."
I actually not so addicted to video Swtor Credits games, however, I still feel happy about the news. I know there is one reason for this - the game developer is taking care of the game and it's always nice to be cared by someone. Therefore, let's expect the SWTOR megaservers open for testing.
